How do you check the fluid in the gearbox of a 1911 Maxwell EA

I have just acquired a 1931 355A convertible coupe. I have a pair of piolet-ray driving lights however need the linkage. Can anyone help with where I could purchase the required parts. John I’m new to the Cadillac adventure. In fact my 31 has not yet been delivered. I purchased the piglet-ray lights this fall at Hershey. I need to join the Cadillac club and find the closest connection from South Dakota.

I am in need of all linkage pieces to connect a set of pilot ray driving lights on my 1931 Cadillac V/8 Convertible coupe. Can anyone help me?

Above photo appears to be a 1928 standard done in correct color. I own one painted in the 27 color combination of yellow, tan , with black fenders.
