  1. when i was 10yrs old .. my dad sold a piece of land to a Mercedes Benz trucks dealership right next door to my home.

    every day after school i used to be under a brand new MB1926 truck , and spend long times looking at the engineering and mechanics , size of rear ends and transmissions construction on this Beast..!  the most newer and well prove reliable truck at the times were Scania and Volvo...so for me to be under this new breed of machinery was something else..!!

    that's where i notice that i was more mechanically incline than anything else in life.

    I became a car mechanic ..and my love for cars and bikes was no joke..!

    I can almost be sure that the new buyer of the Bullitt car may be the same guy that got  the Fangio's W196 car ..! 

    He's buying all of this cars..

    Like Matt mention before.. they have so so much money .. they don't know what to do with it,!

    If that's the case .. i will send you a picture of me with the car next time i get back home..

    Here is what i call my daily boring vehicle,

    Since i own this one (6 yrs) NOTHING when wrong.. not even the power hand crank window motor..(me)... I'm A car mechanic . and i DON'T trust any modern computerized vehicle..

    i when 6 times to Toronto from CA on one like this and 2 times on this one ..not one issue.

    this are the simplest an most reliable vehicles.. anything from 1980 back is my favor car.!

    this tires wont fit my car,
    I have for sale four (4)33X4 whitewall GF Goodrich Silvetown cordtires. Thesetires Two of them are still in factory wrapping. No wear nor flat spots. Seeking $600 for all four plus shipping. Two weigh46 pounds, or all can be picked up in Southern CA Temecula  wine country 92592... call 949-205-9903
    They fit 25"rims.

  6. This Car was for sale about a month ago on Ebay, i think he was asking 15k. i remember talking to the guy.

    If i didn't have the one i'm working right now, i would definitely purchased it.

    i'm going back and for with kevin about paint color on the engine , Bob is out of stock , and i just need to find a match to get it done  here in CA witch i doubt it..due to environmental restrictions getting this kind of paint ( enamel.).! so TJ will be my source.

    olive green  since to be the one i need,  or laurel garland...

    is very hard to distinguish from pictures do

    looking for one hood handle for the 1924 Buick touring car this are cast bronze , picture on bottom shows what it looks like .

    also looking for the 4 hood latch Catches , another cast bronze part . the do bolt on the hood , not riveted. ( i don't have a picture of this yet.)

    I think they look the same all the way to 1929 if i'm not mistaken..

    and one wheel clamp with the Buick inscription .

    Sorry i was planing on meeting all of the Buick guys there this year, but plans din;t work out.

    But i got to meet at least Larry by the picture you guys posted , thank you Larry for the attention you put on me.

    wile you guys are having fun there , here i'm on some other kind of fun ..

    making things ready to start maybe next week on my Buick,,
