Looking for a generic side view mirror available as an aftermarket, add-on item circa 1920 , oval mirror with locking star wheel / ball stud adjusting feature. As I understand, these were generally clamped to the windshield frame on open cars. My friend is in need of a mate to the one he has for his 1922 Hupmobile.

Still hoping to locate one of these mirrors. Please refrain from hijacking my thread in case you are inclined, I posted to locate one for my friend, not someone else...

Thanks Carl. The truth is that rather than handling the printing or contracting out, I was hoping that someone was already doing the job and selling Stromberg bodies. The company I work for is involved with advanced manufacturing including 3D printing. A couple of our engineers that I've spoken with are confident that the process for this application is quite practical. At the moment, I have way too many irons in the fire but printing bodies is always in the back of my mind. Cheers Charlie

Thanks so much but not sure if this works. The part the site shows that looks very close is listed for a '28. My car is a '29. Perhaps someone knows if these are the same? Will try to contact vendor. Thanks again!

Please don't read more into my post than my simple question. All owners of these affected cars are painfully aware of the shortcomings of these carburetors and the reasons leading to their demise. No doubt, anyone hungrily buying up every core that hits the street, will not like good reproductions on the market. Thanks for you input.

My friend says 3". Round hole not oval.

My car is a 1929 Studebaker. It uses a UU2. Carburetor is rather corroded as most.

Looking to see if anyone is 3D printing UU2 or UUR2 stromberg carburetor castings.

Looking for a reproduction gas pedal rubber with script and the cast body for a king seeley gas gauge. Seems as though the vendors I've found have everything but. My pedal has straight sides...

Looking for a mate to this mirror for my friend's Hupmobile. Anyone seen or know what this mirror is? The images show the front and back of the mirror. Note the locking star wheel for the ball stud. Thanks

Okay, got some pics...one image shows the studs sticking out of what I surmise is the inner part of the rim. I'm guessing that some kind of lug attaches there to link the outer split rim? The butting ends in one pic shows the alignment key off kilter and I will at the very least have to mare-rivet but more than likely will have to make new pieces after removing the rust. So anyway, does anyone know what parts are missing and how do these go together?
