  1. Thank you Paul. I have 2 release bearing sleeves for the 36. Neither one has the raised area with a hole for the spring. They both have 2 clips that are connected to each side of the sleeve. These clip onto the fork. One sleeve has a zert fitting the other does not. My fork is connected to the ball. On the outside of the fork there is a hole for a return spring to pull back the bearing and fork. I’ve been having some trouble with the fork backing off the ball when I push in the clutch pedal. I thought maybe that little spring was to help keep the fork from pulling off the ball. I’ll keep trying. Thanks for replying
  2. Number 1 Question: On my stock 36 P-2 sedan my release bearing sleeve does not have a built on clip to attach the small return spring that is shown in the Service Manual. Did they have one with a place to connect this spring as show in the Manual and one without? Number 2 Question: It seems like I need to have the spring because my clutch fork keeps coming off the sleeve when I depress the foot pedal. I have the long return spring attached to the fork connected. Could the sleeve clips be to weak? From what I have read this release sleeve only fit two years (35-36). I have a 37 Plymouth release bearing sleeve and it does not fit onto the 36 fork. The diameter on the 37 is slightly larger and the 37 fork is longer than the 36. Can anyone out there educate me about these issues. Thank you in advance
