  1. You came to the same conclusions I have without all the work. lol. Thanks, maybe someday I will try to take it back to 6v but for now I am just going to replace the old wires with new ones and clean it up. All the important stuff works and it runs great.
  2. Thanks for reminding me about this forum. I am still in the middle of my rewire and have another questions. My dad converted the Old Dodge to 12 volt negative ground. is there anyway to safely get any of the 6V positive ground components to work? Like the radio, ammeter, clock, dome light door switch? Thanks in advance for any help. Dave M. I have finished from the trunk to the dash and added wires for future turn signals. Now im under the dash and then comes the engine and this should be ready to roll.
  3. Any update on this project Michael? I inherited my dads '49 Coronet which had been sitting for about 14 years. Currently in the process of rewiring it (still had factory wires in it). found this post while searching the internet for a wiring diagram.
