You guys are "all-right".
Having loads of fun and saving $$ while you're at it. What happens when you purchase a new part? Do you "antique" it before installing?
That's always a challenge. I had to redo my seats a year or so back and went with hessian to try and match the car's overall look.

Those per day rentals actually look quite expensive considering the year this was probably printed. $35.00 - $50.00 would have been a tidy sum to blow on a 1 day car hire circa early 1920's.
Aren’t these hire rates for film shoots, 1940s or 50s?

Probably staged, but still a cool photo.
Though it's said that Joan Cuneo (pictured) was an amateur racer who maintained her own vehicles.

Unfortunately, Mr. Peterson passed away in 2022. One of the Lincoln Club members had the foresight to purchase a bunch of Lincoln-compatible regulators, but he's down to one and he's saving it as a replacement for the one that's on his car, should it ever fail (that's the one I'm trying to buy). @AB-Buff has another one that he's trying to reverse-engineer, so I'm hoping that project bears some fruit.
Matt, a few Model T guys with electronics backgrounds have developed a new electronic voltage regulator for the Model T/Model A. If you haven't already checked with them they might have something that would work with your car. The guy actually making them is a Porsche/Model T guy (rare combination) in California.

The La Buire looks great and good to see some detail photos. I think that make was one of the cars Jules Bonnot used in his crime spree back in the day. Here's the gang in action in what I think is meant to be a De Dion Bouton.
