YouTube is a great source of information. I just installed an ac unit in my car and works great. I bought a vacuum pump off ebay for $140 and freon cans from an auto store. Changing out a compressor or condenser is easy. I would also replace all the O-rings. Freon also comes with a color which will show leaks.

Try Classic Auto Air. They make complete kits for 1948 and up pickups and 1955 and up Ford Cars. Very easy installation and they can probably piece the correct condenser. I installed one of the units in a 65 Mustang and is a great product.

You never know. There could be some interesting, Thursday early Tour options available at next year's Convention...
Steven Rossi
Dennis Carpenter, Steele Rubber, Rick Hendricks Car Collection, Race Shops, Nascar Museum. A lot of car history in Charlotte. Great choice for the Convention.

🤔not sure of the inference but there was a Duesenberg in the DPC at Hershey this past fall.
They seem nice enough to clean up and just show them with little work.

Nice show and we wanted to go, but too rich for my blood at $780 per person entry fee. That would have been almost $1600 for the wife and I to show our Jag. ..plus hotel, etc.
That doesn't sound that bad to me!

In 1963 I seen my first Nascar race at Old Bridge Speedway Northern Tour. Fireball Roberts won while Lorenzen and Weatherly also put on a good show. Short track racing at its best. Too many 1 1/2-mile tracks now in lousy locations. Competition Yellows and Lucky Dog cars advancing for no reason? Earnhardt introducing Blocking to Nascar back in the 80's and the France Family loved it. Now its TV Racing a Best.

Walt from Past Gas had a small display item stolen on Tuesday, Leo from Mass had a very nice and expensive small porcelain sign stolen and also heard John Mancino had an item stolen. For such smaller attendance theft sure has picked up. I have been selling at Hershey since 1986 and have never had anything stolen but then again, I don't trust people I can't keep an eye on. I had a very good Hershey.

They advertised it at 64 1/2 with paperwork but title says it all. Ford came out so late in 64 and just called it a 65 while build date was early 64. Thanks for checking that out.

Yes, that’s a really early Mustang!
I always get a kick out of “64-1/2”, as there’s no such animal. It’s titled a 1965, and it’s a very early 1965 Mustang. No state ever titled a car with a half year.
Still good bragging rights.
Here's one For Sale with all the paperwork at Classic Auto Mall in Morgantown Pa.

By the way I do consider them pre-war being that I served with the 1ST Cav in Vietnam 69-70.

Time to buy a Mustang. My Mother ordered one when they were announced to the public back in 1963. Ford Motor Company sent her a small dash plaque with her name on it because of the long wait time. White, blue interior and 6 cylinders. She eventually moved on and bought a Tempest. I'm in the market for one now.

I remember when the Valiant hit the market. I was 11 years old and bought the model to build. Back then new models were promoted at the dealership before release.

My 1958 VW when I was stationed in Germany after Vietnam 1971. Drove that car for 16 months thru Germany and down to Italy on a short vacation. That gas pedal was always floored and never any problems. Now I own the 1960 numbers match 36 hp Jade Green and a 1958 Light Bronze just like the one I had 51 years ago.

Hey guys, life’s been crazy lately, so I haven’t been on. In fact, I’d completely forgotten about this thread! I thought about y’all because I bought a ticket to a fundraiser today to see The Brothers Collection in Salem, OR this week. (Over 350 cars).
I’m in the process of selling my house to move to Orlando, to be closer to my son’s family and first grandchild, so this will be my last fall with my beloved trees. Looking forward to simplifying my life and enjoying my father’s Ford and Corvair in FL in the next year! (If anyone has any ideas for storage of 2 cars near St Cloud, please let me know).
Thank you for reviving this thread and posting your pics. I’m waiting on a rebuilt carb for the Ford, so my pics don’t include a car.
When you move to Florida you will need a summer home in the Smoky Mountains for the Summer. May thru October are brutal for vintage cars in Florida. Many old car activities in North Carolina and Tennessee.

I'm not disagreeing that it is that way but you can tell by walking the swap meet that too many people are not using the space properly or just not showing up!
As mentioned above, $360 for 4 spots or $90 a spot. So if you attend multiple days at $20 parking per day, why not just buy a spot to park in if not being enforced.
You need a AACA Membership at $45 and a Pa Tax number and fill twice a year. I doubt if most who attend have a membership.

I have only missed Hershey 2 times since 1986. I setup my tents on Monday cold and nasty. Went back on Tuesday spent most of the day in the truck. Wednesday finally opened up at 10 and had great sales until 4PM. Thursday was pretty much a flat day but did OK till Noon. Paid my $360 dollars for 4 spaces and my Airbnb was close to $900 dollars. My spaces are at the corner entering the orange field near the handicap parking and I get to see all the so-called handicaps. Maybe Hershey Region can rent a tram and bring the Handicaps in from the parking lots? I'm 73 and have a bad hip and push myself to walk a few rows but still manage to get thru it. All these Golf Carts are a JOKE. The only complaint I have is I miss the pizza Man for party's at night with friends. Hershey was great.

Neon Clock 6-sided, selection of nice original speedway posters, 2 gas station revere pole lamps, some nice early spark plugs, early klaxon horn, few gas nozzles. A few signs and some nice 50's Chevrolet Pontiac dealership parts room posters. Spaces Obi 3-6 orange. I'm at the entrance to the orange field.

Hershey Park Website shows the park closing to visitors on Sunday Night at 9 PM. Also shows the Park opening at 2PM Saturday the day after the show.
