[So Tesla is tanking... your thoughts?]

I've heard the rumours of mileage taxes here due to hybrids and electric vehicles not creating enough fuel taxes. This bugs me on a couple of reasons. The government knows the fuel companies are gouging us on costs but won't do anything because once again they lose tax revenue. Secondly, the mileage taxes don't account for my almost 10,000 miles towing in the USA this summer. I would have to pay tax on that...on top of any taxes I paid for all that fuel!

Thanks everyone for the compliments, AMC has always been my favourite and I'm thrilled to own the car and be able to take it round and show people the great cars that AMC made. The car is not 100% stock so will have to make some changes before AACA judging.

Doug, I think you might remember me from the Ford trucks forum also.

I'm honestly surprised it's taken this long. Have you folks seen the youtube videos of the guy who has been doing rebuilds on written off cars? They sell a product that nobody but them is allowed to work on!

Hello everyone, just signed up for the forum and looking at joining AACA. I live in British Columbia Canada and have a 1970 AMX that I have shown since 2011 through AMCRC, AMO and a few invitational Concours events. I see that there is a National show in ID next week but nothing in the Northwest next year. Curious if any more events are still in the works for 2019 so i can start looking at booking any required holidays.
