Thank you @The 55er. I have this fan assembly. I found the motor but don't have the plate it mounts to, or the fan blades, in the firewall. This is the fan that runs the defrost.

I am restoring a 49 Olds 88 Wagon that has not been on the road since 1970. It was pulled from a wrecking yard in the early eighties.
I have done pretty good finding original parts so far and now I am on the rear brakes. The left side had all its parts and I was able to get it together. The right side had nothing. I am missing the brake lever and strut part numbers 553748 and 553738. These, according to my parts book, are the same from 42 to 54 on 88's only.
Thank you for any help

I started working on this car 8 years ago. Bought it disassembled and hoped everything was there. I am working on the 303 engine cooling system. I can not find a diagram that shows the correct heater hose routing. The heater core when mounted to the firewall has a bracket that holds the heater shell. My fire wall has a hole for a fan motor. What does this look like and where can I find one? And how is it held in place?

So where did this Olds go? I bid on this car in California when it was here.
The car you guys built was beautiful. Could not believe it sold so cheap.

Thank you. I have found drums, shoes, wheel cylinders, springs, parking brake struts, and shoe retainers. The only thing I need is the lever 553738. I will give you a call Craig.
