Thanks Ben i probably stick with points as it sounds like the may be more reliable. And as for the gear box change out I’ll remain with the Dyna flow as I’m not to keen on changing out all the original drive train for the sake of two more gears regards jason

Gday from Australia every one, I own a 1953 Buick special with a 263 straight 8 and 2 speed Dyna-Flow transmission. I have 2 questions for anyone who can answer them. Question 1, I have been thinking about transferring my Delco Remy distributer 1110838 to a Pertronix ignitor electronic ignition buy fitting it out however I'm not sure if I can do this with only running a 6 volt system/ Question 2, Is there any 4 speed automatic transmissions that bolt on with minimum disruption to the drive train.
