When I saw the post about the auction I immediately called the folks at Steele Rubber, Metro and Ron Wade. When I talked to Ron yesterday, he said that the city and county were no help in identifying who the auction company had been. I gather none of the 3 had any luck finding out what happened to all the tooling. This is a sad day for the hobby. Unless someone bought the dies with the intent of supplying the old car hobby, we just lost over 1000 reproduction parts for most makes of antique cars and trucks.
