Absolutely stunning frame off restored 1940 Buick Special Convertible Restored to better than new. Has won multiple local awards as well as a Silver award at Buick Nationals 2022. Only missed Gold rating due to a few small issues such as valve stem caps being plastic (-4), incorrect hose clamps (-4), and radial tires in the wrong size instead of the original bias ply (-8). If those points were added back the final score would have been a 398 out of 400. Beautifully smooth and fully detailed Buick Straight 8 248 cu. in. fully rebuilt. Rebuilt 3 speed manual with column shift. (3 on the tree) Fun to drive and gets looks and thumbs up everywhere. Show quality Sequoia Cream paint with powder coated red wheels. Maroon leather like interior is like new. Amazing engine turned dash with beautiful woodgrain. Tan cloth manual top just professionally cleaned and resealed this past summer. Matching top boot custom made last year using original pattern. All gauges work including the original clock and even the radio. All new original style cloth covered wiring Chrome and trim is in excellent condition. Accessoriy fog lights. Radial whitewall tires for better road manners and safety. Includes original jack and tools Original sales brochure included Original Service manual included Runs drives and stops amazing. Just serviced this past fall before storage with fresh oil change and full flushing of the cooling system. I have the title history on this car back to 1963 and it appears that I am the 4th owner. Restoration on this nearly rust free car was completed around 2017 and still shows like it was done yesterday. Stored in a temperature controlled garage. Needs absolutely nothing.
