A little off topic, but I have a problem with my brakes becoming too tight over time. Otherwise they work just fine but slowly the automatic adjuster makes the front brakes too tight and I end up with semi-stuck front wheels (=light grinding noise + very short pedal movement). I end up having to back up the adjuster over and over. Any ideas?

Can you guys who have taken out your rear (or front) windows chime in: what did you do after you cleaned it out? Mine's not rusted badly at all really and I'm thinking just rust stop + primer + paint & lacquer. But last night I started wondering about all the little grooves and edges and wondered if I should solder/lead the edges first? Plus what did you do in terms of preventing future water entrapment at the bottom edge? Opinions?

Good stuff everybody! But no one tried or heard about the A1Auto or AutoMatStore carpets? Kaber, is that medium blue or dark blue you have there? Your pics are great and I'm definitely shifting towards getting the same carpet you've got.

My first post, so hi everybody. My project rolled out of the garage two summers ago and has been improving slow and steady. And naturally, revealing its small problems one by one. Currently, I'm working on the carpet. Water got in somehow (back window coming off and quarters being investigated) and I found a puddle in the back and front passenger side. The original carpet is rotten & stinky. I went through the forum and saw many carpet recommendations for Clarks Corvair, but their website is ...well, limited. Does anyone have experience with the complete set items on eBay from A1Auto or AutoMatStore? Thanks in advance and this is a great forum by the way!
