I have a friend with a nicely restored 63. It has the stock four-jet carb. When the car sits for more than a day or so, it won’t start without priming. I’m familiar with the typical Q-jet leak, but have never heard of the Carter doing the same thing.
Any suggestions on how to deal with this? Thx

Not “ironic” at all (particularly when you read the definition of that word). It was fully intentional. That wheel goes well with the later wheels, 65 grill and 425 / Turbo 400 from a 64. I love the interior and trim of the 63 with the improvements of later cars.
