  1. Sorry for the delay, I've been busy. It's a 12AU7A tube. Attached is a picture of it and the switch.

"This tube finds use as a phase-inverter/splitter in push-pull amplifier circuits in ac/dc radio equipment and in many diversified applications such as multivibrators or oscillators in industrial control devices."

  2. The label is not readable and there are no other markings except the date "Nov 29, 1955" on the inside panel of the other half of the box. See picture. The output of it must have something to do with the terminals on the top of the box. There are only 3 wires, one for 12 volts and the other 2 went to the switch. The silver can is a "vibrator", not a capacitor.

Has anyone checked out this one from the latest Riview? Seems like a really good deal if it’s real.

I think that I was probably one of the first ones to call on it. He said he needed a couple of weeks to get the parts together. I called him this past Tuesday, left a message, no response. He called me Thursday, told me it was sold. Someone put pressure on him to look at it and they ended up buying it. Lesson learned.

  4. I know this is an old post, but I have a couple of questions. I'm going to look at a '65 GS this weekend and would like to verify the BS code. Which side of the car is the transmission plate on? Is the easiest way to verify the positraction rearend by jacking the car up and spinning one wheel? And the other wheel should spin in the same direction?

Putting stripes on these cars is like putting lipstick on a pig!

  6. 1964 Buick Riviera numbers matching 425 dual quad car. This is about 35 miles from where I live. Seller has the original invoice for the car. There's no Gran Sport badge on glovebox, but there is on tail panel and fenders. I am assuming someone added those? Should be interesting to see what it sells for.

OK Riviera People: That dark green 65 Riv?  SCAM. And the guy doin' it is beatin' a dead horse.   Mitch

I know that there's a green GS that was all over Craigslist that was a scam. And this ad does look different than most Ebay posts. I figured less scams would be on Ebay because there's more information about the seller available. The seller has been an Ebay member since 2004, no selling feedback, a lot of buying feedback.
