Just wondering how much of the wiring and other important stuff got ripped out while the engine and transmission was coming out.
-
It is such a shame when people pull an engine and trans on such a nice car just to update the drivetrain.

Oh what a nice rare car, I would love to have that. But I'm wondering how much it would cost to restore. I wonder if the engine is locked up?

Did you notice that nice chicken wire roof?

I contacted the owner via Craigslist an here is his reply:
The short story is the car belongs to my dad and dementia means he can't work on it anymore. I was with him and the car just today and attempted to turn it over with a socket attached to the manual crank. It was running before the head came off. I rode in the car in 2019. It was towed to where you see it pictured about a year ago. What my dad says is that it got hot but did not overheat. I do not think it needs a total rebuild, and there is no reason the transmission would. It's a beautiful car that's been the pride of his collection, but it's time for someone else to tinker with it.I've only posted it on craigslist and recently sold a Studebaker he owned that way. People seem to find cars like this if they want them. If you want to inspect it more closely, I'll need to know you're serious.Thanks,Tim- 2

Hi Bob,
Maybe for more clarity, you might Include the PACKARD name in Your heading,
something like (Packard 733, not a Cadillac),
just a thought-
Thanks for bringing the ad
Thanks Marty...I changed the heading. Hope all is well with you. I sure miss my 34 Buick . Should never have sold it.

I just contacted the gentleman and he said it is a Packard but Facebook did not have a listing for Packard so he put Cadillac. He swears and down that is an original color scheme for that era.

What would be a top comfortable speed for this car ? And also what would be a reasonable price ? Owner said restoration was done 12 years ago.

Somebody got a really really good deal, I hope it was somebody on this site so it will be well taken care of.

This is a 1910 Cadillac 30 series. (Listing options don't offer 30 series) Car has been garaged all its life. It has sat over 10-15 years without being started. It will need work to get it running. Rest of car looks very good and complete. Car belongs to a family member.

I was thinking of buying a restored 1937 Packard 120 C and was wondering if this is a good car to buy? Are there any problems with these cars i should know about ahead of time ? What is a comfortable top speed ? Are they full classics ? Sorry about all the questions .
