1922 Hudson radiator shell looks very similar. Zeke

it is a difficult job to crank issue after issue of any magazine, year after year. Two divergent segments of the auto hobby are always rubbing up against each other. The progressive, younger faction wants articles pertaining to the barely twenty five year old cars that they are interested in while the older members want to read articles relating to brass and nickel era cars. It is a juggling act that I couldn't manage.
While my interests lie in the older cars, I am pulled into reading articles about the newer cars, thus expanding my knowledge and appreciation of them.
I always enjoy reading the magazine and feel a sense of gratitude to the editors and contributors. It is a difficult job. I don't compliment the hard working staff often enough. I wish that there was a way that I could look up from the last page of the current issue and say " Thanks, what a good read". Zeke

And to raise the windshield on Fisher bodied cars of the era. Zeke

I will be there with some vacuum tanks and parts. Not enough to get a space but I want to sell off the things I don’t need anymore. Four complete tanks and several tops and floats and more. These are larger tanks. Think Hudson ,Packard, Buick. Zeke

Consider installing a pair of wind wings. They redirect the rain away from the front seat passengers while the car is in motion. Zeke

Wait until the buyer sees how much Copart charges in fees. Not only buyer fees but lot fees and computer fees and more. They will skin you before you get away.

I have not seen a dual carburetor manifold on a Hudson of that era. I do know that prior to 1924, Hudson didn't have intake manifolds as such. The side draft carburetor bolted onto the block. Zeke

Roundabouts can work very well but can be a real experience while vacationing.
We're getting a 'Divergent Diamond' interchange to hopefully prevent accidents. Fingers crossed ........
Go to the 42 second marker to begin the show and tell of the new design
There is one operating in Lexington KY and another planned. The new design is more efficient than the old one but you have to be alert and visualize how it works before you go through it. Also, it would be to your advantage to put your phone down while driving through the intersection. Zeke
Anyone ever seen one of these....or driven on one?

If you own a pair, you have automatically crapped out. Zeke

Crusty, I consider this topic to be “low hanging fruit”. Pun fully intended. Zeke

Many years ago I attended a seminar on oils delivered by a representative from DX oils at an AACA annual meeting. Something he said has stuck with me for thirty years or more. When talking about off the shelf oil additives he said “The best result you can hope for with an additive is that it does no damage”. He reminded us that motor oil has been developed by chemical engineers and additives have already been added. Whatever you add in addition to the oil hasn’t been accounted for in the oil formulation. It is entirely possible that your additive will not be compatible with, and in fact counteract the additives in the motor oil. I’m not a chemical engineer. I will leave the oil formulation to someone at a higher pay grade. Zeke

Hmmmmm... I don't see the stance of that '37 as an improvement. I do like it otherwise, however.
I notice an establishment that sells alcohol located behind the Buick. Maybe the owner is carrying illicit moon whiskey in the trunk. Zeke

I’ve used cheap foam brushes to coat the inside of vacuum tanks. Assuming you get good coverage, it works fine. Zeke

Sometimes tire stores in rural areas carry them for use on farm wagons. That is where I bought my last one. Zeke
