1. I have bought a car in Wausau Wisconsin and I need it picked up next week, prefer August 4th or 5th, and brought to my home in Brodhead Wisconsin, which is 3 hrs south of Wausau. Car runs, is in pristine condition, prefer a single enclosed trailer for transport.

Can anyone recommend a vendor for hire.

I am not interested in a Broker with an open trailer rig.

Thanks in advance, Dean Prevolos, 239-450-8139 (member # 902503).

  3. I have been looking for the one that got away from me. I am looking to find and buy a 1935 Pontiac Coupe. The one that got away from me went to Australia and I regret not buying it when it was sitting in front of me.

See attached photo of the one that got away and is my screensaver, so I can look at it everyday.

Any leads are welcome. Anyone wanting to sell their 1935 Pontiac Coupe, please contact me. Thank you, Dean Prevolos.

  4. Caleb, I don't have an answer for you but would like to see a photo of the car you are working on. The last time I saw a 35 Coupe was 4 years ago. When I went back to buy it, the dealer had sold it to be shipped to Australia. Just curious where you found your car as I have been looking for years for another one and have yet to find one. Thanks.

  6. 1938 Buick, Special, four door. This car is a nice driver. It has a 3 speed manual transmission, with a Dynaflash straight 8 that runs and drives great. It is a head turner and attention grabber. It has good, (period correct) tires with less than 500 miles on them. Not sure of the year of the restoration and it has a Coach interior. The prior owner did his own restoration. The only things I can think of that do not work on this car are the clock, and the fuel gauge, (needs a little carburetor work). The radio works great, the vacuum wipers have been rebuilt, there are a set of reconditioned 1938 license plates that could go with the car for the right price. The bumper badge was recently replaced on this car. If you are looking for a "show" car, this is not for you. If you want a good driver, in great condition, this is your car. If you would like photos of something in particular please ask and I will do my best to get them to you. I do not monitor my computer all the time, so please be patient.I will respond to all inquiries. $12,500.00 You can email me at bboshart084@gmail.com also.

    Where is the car located?

  7. I just watched an hour of all the different videos, Gone with the Wynns, and found them all interesting and helpful. My wife and I just started looking at RV's and thinking of adding this segment of Retirement to our schedule. What can happen, enjoy a few years on the road, in-between going back to home base, take in a few car shows, life is good. Only in America!

  8. Yesterday I went to change my oil in my 1965 Old F-85. I put it up on the lift and to my surprise I saw a drain plug that I have never seen before. I have tried to attach the photos but the file is too large. I will try later to attach.

I didn't have the correct socket to remove but I took a vice grip plyer and it fit perfectly around the drain plug and with one turn it loosened right up.

I would like to know if this is a "correct" factory drain plug or is this an aftermarket part?

    Thanks in advance, Dean.

  9. 1937 Plymouth P4 Business Coupe all original with correct vin number matching title. Complete with original curtains behind seat. New tires as the originals were rotted and would not hold air. This was in a well ventilated dry barn from 1958 until a couple years ago.Very rust free for a Midwest car and is a excellent restoration or hot rod project. Engine and drive train are complete and it appears the starter and generator are original to car. There are some rust issues and that’s is not unlikely in a vehicle of this vintage. I have 85 pictures of the car showing both good and bad areas. There should not be any surprises when potential buyers look the car over as I try to be as truthful as I can in description.

The engine does not turn over at this time. I soaked the cylinders and had no success.I had given thought to removing the head and checking things out but decided not to touch the engine. The car is very straight with the exception of the right front passenger fender that had a crack about 6” long that was welded up prior to it’s being parked in 1958. That is shown in the detail pics.

    Asking $6950.00.

The price is fairly firm with the understanding that there is always some give and take in negotiations, however low ball offers wont even get a response. Serious buyers may inquire.

Do you have any photos of the interior that you can post?
