  1. As it says on the inside Studebaker 1949. Could be from a Champion.
  2. Haven't got the measurements, nzcarnerd, as it is at my mate's place 1.5 hours from here. But it is just a bit smaller than a flathead six from Mopar.
  3. Does anyone recognise this straight six head?
  4. I just got it identified. It's from a 1955 Plymouth Belvedere Coupe.
  5. Does anyone recognise this stainless steel trim from a C post? Thank you
  6. Last week i rescued a number of old AC fuelpumps from an old junkyard . After i browsed the internet for a few days i'm left with 4 that i can't identify These are the numbers that are stamped in the flanges that bolt onto the engine : 856265 0856494 865228 1538286 (looks military) Thanks , Jack

  8. Of course you noticed that this bit of trim is pretty much damaged and dented . So value in money will be just a few cents in scrap , but to us its the historic value that counts We dug it up in a former RCAF base in France , in a place where they dumped their old scrap cars . It closed in 1967 and the cars got cleared as well . Now you know why we want to i.d it . Its currently in our museum , and if any one of you can name the car , that would be really fantastic.
  9. This Hillman Minx could be even older , phase 3 or 4
  10. To Dictator 27 , I didn't look if that housing under the dash was attached , but by the looks of it its either a fueltank or possibly the housing of a heather unit. The rear bodywork was still (bareley) attached to the rest of the car , and it was a 4 door sedan . One of the nearly dissolved back doors can be seen lying flat on the ground .
  11. Yes that was an option i looked into as well . Still I'm pretty much convinced these are for lubricating . As seen in the close up shot of one of these nipples there are small holes in the middle which are less than a millimeter and have no thread whatsoever . They do connect with two narrow channels that go all the way trough the head , you can just see these on the underside photo
  12. Any idea what cars these are from ? Hopefully one can tell me what cars they were in . Thanks , Jack
  13. Last summer I spotted this old girl in a Swedish junkyard . It looks to be late 20s or early 30s . Till so far all my attempts to identify it have been fruitless Any ideas ? Thanks , Jack
  14. This head we had for quite some time now is another one that we cannot identify . The only markings are a large M and the firing order by each sparkplug hole . Hopefully one of you has an idea what it is from Thank you
  15. We recently got this unusual looking straight six head , but not a clue what it could be from . There are no numbers or other identification on it whatsoever . There are 2 grease nipples on top with very small lettering which could be French . It reads : King - Brevete sgds patent . Hopefully one of you can help us out with this one Thank you
