  1. Yeah , I know it was a probably a terrible idea .  I used it on my regular cars it worked for the time being .

I guess when I take the radiator out , at the same time I’ll rebuild the water pump

  2. So since I’ve been driving the car more and more since I got it noticed it’s been leaking some coolant from the bottom of the radiator . It’s little here And there but it adds up, before I take he radiator out and have it fixed or re-core. Should I try and radiator fix stuff they sell at the local auto parts store

Whitewalls work because of the side mount covers. Having them exposed make the car look shorter and too busy. With the issues of scuffing, cleaning, and two to three times the failure rate of WW over black walls.....I would go black. Also, if you actually drive the car......covers can be a big hassle with flats........in the end, do what you like.........decisions for judging and showing are diffrent than considerations for drivers. Car looks great......I like it.

The tires in the side mounts seem to be original they are U.S royals they are heavily aged ..

If I ever did get a flat I’ll be screwed .

  5. I need help deciding, I’m about to order some new tires before I tackle the front end ..

I can’t decide whether to keep the whitewalls or go with the black walls

  6. Soo, after doing some research, as well as some insight from others . Few people recommend that I pack the pipe that connects the heat riser with the exhaust valve with some form of insulation to help trap the carbon.

any recommendations on what to use ?

  7. Thank you after following these instructions, the car never ran better. I also replaced the rubber hose fuel line with new line and routed it differently , that also helped greatly
