  1. Hi, my thermostat gasket is leaking a little on my '70 (455CI) and since I will have the water inlet off anyway, I want to replace the thermostat at the same time. Buick calls for a 190 degree thermostat, but all I can find is 160, 180 and 195. Any recommendations? Thanks,Mitch
  2. Hi Marty, the medallion from the hub caps is definately larger than from the road wheel. I am having trouble posting pictures. I'll try to send them to your email Mitch
  3. Hi, I am replacing the kick panels on my '70. I found nice replacements but they are black and need to have them changed to match the sandlewood interior. Does anyone know of an outfit that can paint or dye these to match? Thanks, Mitch
  4. Thanks Tom, I figured it was something like that. I may try the spacers first instead of going through the whole process again. Since I am not familiar, do the spacers come in different thicknesses? Any experience as to what is the best size to try? Mitch
  5. Hi. I installed some road wheels, which I believe are from a 71 (stamped 11 29 WK) onto my 70 yesterday along with some new tires of the correct size. They fit fine, but there is a terrible grinding noise coming from one on the rear. Something is hitting somewhere but I can't tell from where. I have a sinking feeling that these wheels wont work. Is there any remedy other than trying to find the correct year wheels and putting my old ones back on? I could understand problems with the front but the rear? The car has drum brakes all around. Thanks, Mitch (ROA 1260)
  6. Fenwick, Did you have any issues with the 235's fitting, especially with the skirts? I want to buy the same tires, but thought of going with 225's. Thanks, Mitch
  7. I found a decent vinyl to match and have that on there now, only thing that bugs me is the "Riviera" script isn't there. Dave, If you could look the next time your around the yard, that would be great. Make sure it's like the deluxe interor like in the picture and not the standard. They are different. Thanks, Mitch
  8. Hi. I'm looking for the piece in the attached picture (both sides). It is specifically the wood grain piece that is attached to the door panel. The chrome panel is in place, but the wood applique is gone. I realize I may need to buy the whole panel since no one probably wants to strip parts off of other parts. Thanks, Mitch
  9. Hi. I'm looking for a set (4) of decent road wheels for a '70. Pretty sure '68-'69 will fit as well. Also need the chrome flasher knob from the steering column for the same year(s). Thanks, Mitch
  10. Hi Jon, You may want to check out these 2. I have no affiliation with the dealers, just stuff I seen on the web. Mitch Nelson Auto Group | Vehicle Profile Grand River Auto Sales - www.grandriverautosales.com
  11. Is the wood grain under the glove box door by the Riviera emblem present in cars equipped with standard interior? Thanks.
