  1. Sorry for the late response but just saw this, from my experience Steele has the best replacement rubbers, so if cost is less of an option use them. Re the window felt outer there are 2 styles one has a thin Stainless steel bead and the other is plain rubber there is an option to have that plain rubber covered with Stainless steel trim. I have 3 75 LeSabe convertables and 2 have bead oneis plain (but has the option SS trim that covers it) Re the carpet I went with ACC cut pile for my white LeSabre it is too thick and looks a bit funny on the doors, in hindsight I would have gone with the regular cut pile. My brown LeSabre had original loop pile so when I did that car I used loop piling. I may have a spare set of new window felts that I haven't used and some other new rubbers etc. Good luck on your resoration
  2. To add my .02. On my all original 75 Lesabre convertible with the plaque stating the last 50 made, the engine color is not the metallic turquoise it is GM blue and every 76 Lesabre I have seen is also GM Blue. The other two 75 Lesabre convertibles that I have restored I used the AMC blue it is not perfect but it is very close.
  3. Hi all, I am well into the restoration of my white formerly beater lesabre I want to convert to true dual exhaust and will need a correct dual exhaust x-member. Any one have one? Cheers Robert
