  1. What I have is a very nice '49 Dodge Coronet club coupe. This is the coupe and not the 2 door sedan. I have had the car for about 20 years and have come to the realization that if I haven't gotten to it to finish restoring by now, it's probably time to let someone else finish it. It is an incredibly solid car with absolutely minimal rust issues. NO floor cancer, NO lower fender cancer, NO rocker panel cancer, No trunk spare tire well cancer, NO hood cancer. I removed all of the exterior trim to do the body work and have it stored. I have all of the trim including the hard-to-find pieces. The chrome and stainless is in very good shape. It has all of the gauges. The woodgraining of the dash and door window garnish moldings will need to be redone. It is a factory radio-delete model and the delete panel is in place. It even has all four of it's original wheel covers.

    It has what appears to be the original engine with fluid drive transmission. The motor will probably need to be rebuilt or removed for a late model of your choice. The seats are there and the interior is complete with the exception of the headliner. The car comes with a clear TX title in my name.

    I will be taking pics in the next couple of days and adding them here. I'll be happy to go over the car in detail with you and answer any questions that you might have.

    The car is priced at $1500. I part out trucks and cars from the 50s. If I were to part out this car, (which is too solid to relegate to a parts car) the front cap alone would retail for $1000. A car this solid and complete is hard to find, especially at the price it's being offered. As a reminder, it comes with a clear TX title in my name.

  3. Incredibly solid 1950 bullet nose 4 door Champion with clear Texas title. This car has no floor cancer, has a solid trunk, no lower front fender or rocker cancer and has no dents with the exception of the lower p/s front fender by the bumper. The bottoms of the doors are completely solid as well. The only cancer that I can find is a pinhole at the front edge of the top of the fenders where the headlight bezels attach. No larger than these areas are, it would be an easy repair at this point. It has an incredible, uncracked grille.

    I have never seen chrome as good as this car has! The bullet, hood pieces, headlight bezels, bumpers, trunk handle, tail light bezels, door handles, rocker mouldings, and window frames are all incredible.

    The car is complete with it's 6 cylinder motor that was rebuilt several years ago. The rebuild has only about 700-800 miles on it. The car has sat for a number of years & the motor does not turn over. A dose of marvel mystery oil should do the trick to free it up.

    The seats appear to have the original material on them. It has a radio and rare tissue dispenser mounted under the glovebox and it comes with the original keys along with a clear Texas title. All of this including the TX title for only $1500. I don't think you will find another one like this to begin a restoration, or to get the motor running and enjoy driving it while you do a cosmetic freshening-up.

The tailgate and the doors are straight and shut solidly. It will need repair in the typical expected area around the rear wheel wells, floor pans, the floor area under the package tray and the bed.

    Again, a very solid car with a good starting point to restore. Whoever buys this car will be beginning their restoration farther down the road than others that I've seen. Way better than some that are out there that I have seen that are being offered at more money. Some of them have no drive train and are rust-buckets compared to this one.

    I do have the original seat, but it wasn't in the same location as this car to get pics. It has a frame and springs to begin with, but the material that is on it will need to be redone.

    This car with it's good structural bones, solid sheet metal, complete with moldings and pieces that were removed for sanding (complete w/pieces as best as I can tell. I can take all the parts out & inventory them if you like. Was told by the previous owner that everything is there), and Texas title is being offered at $2,200. Being the fact that the engine turns over, I don't think it would take much to get it running.
