  1. Tried them and Roberts Motor Parts. Neither had them or a source for them.
  2. Joe- I probably didn't do a good job of describing what he needs. He is looking for the type that your 1949 Chrysler products had. This coupe that he has is the second series and is actually a car that I used to own. It does have the separate lug nuts. I went to NAPA today and all that they had was of the earlier design with the nut mounted on the end of the lug that screws in. Those are the same type that I have on a '46 Dodge truck and also my '39 Dodge truck. Gary
  3. Joe- He does need the threaded bolt type. Sorry I didn't clarify that in my post. He didn't say anything about the lug nuts also, but with new lugs, it wouldn't hurt to have new lug nuts as well. Jack- That's a good thought about their having the lug bolts. I'll check with them & see if they have those also. Thanks guys for your help, Gary
  4. I am trying to help a customer in the UK locate both left hand and right hand wheel lugs. He needs 5 of each. Thanks, Gary oldcarparts@ymail.com call/text 903-820-9454
  5. Had no takers on the complete car, so I'm parting it out. It appears to be complete with the exception of the wheel covers and fender skirts best I can tell. It sat outside unprotected for a number of years, so the seats and dash pad are gone. Might have some other interior parts that would work. Good body panels, also good windshield and frame. Let me know what your need. My email address for pics is oldcarparts@ymail.com . Thanks, Gary
  6. 1949 Dodge 5 passenger coupe (not business coupe). Very solid car complete with original motor and fluid drive transmission. The front and rear floors are rock solid with the exception of one 2" or so diameter place where the driver's left foot would ride that's not rusted through but needs a little attention. The trunk floor and spare tire well is solid also with one roughly 1" diameter place that is also thin but not rusted through. These places are very easy fixes at this point. The car has an excellent grille, good chrome on the bumpers and has all of the stainless trim with the exception of the d/s door piece. All of the gauges are intact. The previous owner recovered the seats in some sort of vinyl covering. The original seat springs are still intact and in good shape. It does not have a headliner but the headliner bows are all there. The windshield and rear glass as well as the rear seat side windows are in good shape. The door glasses will need replacing, but they're flat glass and any glass shop can easily replace them. It has all four of its original wheel covers. It has good driver quality paint. I have a clear Texas title in my name. I can text or email pics of the car. Reply here, PM, call or text. $2,800. 8. Doors, front fender, rear fenders & lower grille bar have been sold.
  9. Good, solid truck. Mostly cancer-free. It was completely disassembled by the previous owner who sandblasted all of its parts and pieces (except for window items). It has been stored in a shed since then with only minor oxidation occuring on the surfaces. The good thing about the sandblasting being done is that there is no paint or filler for rust & potential problems to be hiding under. Cancer-free parts & pieces except as noted. Pics available of all parts. Cab- Very good with solid floors & dash, good header panel above windshield, solid A- pillars. Needs d/s lower hinge pocket, p/s stepsill, cab corners. Has a workable dent in roof over p/s door: $350. Hood- Solid & straight: $200. D/S Front Fender- Needs lower patch panel & panel around parking light: $150. P/S Front Fender- Is actually for a '55. Needs rear patch panel: $175. Doors- Good shape. Need minor repair on door bottoms: $175. ea. Short bedsides: Very straight: $125. ea. D/S rear fender with no spare tire cutout. Very straight and cancer-free: $200. P/S rear fenders, straight & solid (2 available): $150 ea. Bed sills. Solid: $30. ea. Rear sill. Straight & solid: $50. New aftermarket tailgate. Smooth panel with no lettering. Very nice piece with no dents. (Was not sandblasted. Still in black primer): $100. D/S short step: $25. P/S went missing before I bought the truck. Hood latch panel: $35. Lower grille bar: $45. Hood hinges: $25. ea. Radio delete plate: $10. Headlight buckets: $20. ea. Headlight bezels: $20. ea. Front bumper: $50. P/S Vent window assembly with glass: $60. Door window frame with glass: $35. Door striker plates: $15. ea. Door hinges: $20. ea. I'm still in the process of going through the boxes of parts that were dismantled from the truck. I will be listing more parts available as I uncover them. If you need something that you don't see listed here, let me know & I'll see if I have it. Thanks, Gary
  10. I think I have outsmarted my confuser. I need to go out of town where the cars are to get the remaining pics that you requested. Thanks, Gary
  11. Well, the best laid plans..... The only thing that I can figure is that with Halloween approaching, my computer took it literally & has decided to become haunted. Pics that I have had in my file for months are not able to be loaded. Every time I try to click on one to send or even preview, the screen goes kinda whiteish and the message Intenet Explorer Has Stopped Working appears. Not knowing much about confusers, I'm sorta stuck here until I can have someone perform an exorcism on it for me. One thing that I can do for you is to go out where the parts cars live & let my bride take some pics on her i-phone for you. I'll be glad to have her text them to you or better yet, e-mail them to you. We'll do our best to get them for you tomorrow; the cars are a little ways out of town, but we'll do our best to get it done for you. Sorry for the delay. Thanks, Gary
  12. The horn rings on both cars are broken and the steering wheels have significant cracks in them with the hubs in not very good shape. On the brighter side, the brake boosters are good. Send me your e-mail address & I'll get pics of the boosters out to you. Thanks, Gary
