  1. I'm looking for info on a car that my dad owned 30 years ago. It's a 1935 Chrysler Air Stream convertible coupe, with a rumble seat. The story i remember about it is that it was reportedly 1 of 8 factory prototypes that was sold without factory approval. I'm not sure how true that really is, but the car was supposed to be extremely rare. Anyway, it was a maroon color, with tan top and dark saddle color interior. Beautiful driving car, very nice looking. I'm looking for photos to post of it as a reference, just can't find any just yet. Any leads are greatly appreciated! Thanks!
  2. Looking for info on a 1935 Chrysler Air Flow 4 door, believed to have been in the collection of Paul Stern in the mid 70s. This car was reported to have 5-6000 miles on it in 1975 when my dad owned it for a short time in West Virginia. I'm not sure where it went when he sold it in the late 70's or early 80s. It was a green color, almost an olive green, but not drab green. If anyone knows the whereabouts, I'd be interested to talk with you. Thanks!
  3. Hello. My dad bought some cars from Mr Stern in the mid 70s. At the time we picked them up, in May 1975, I remember seeing the Imperials and others that he had in the shop at the time. There was even a Corvair that he (or someone) had converted to an El Camino type thing. I remember he priced the Imperials to my dad and later, we talked about how the price was probably fair, but it was just far beyond our reach at the time. I'm thinking probably in the $20,000 range maybe? But that's a complete guess. Mr Stern was very nice to us while we were there and I just remember him as a kind older gentleman, very polite and proper. Anyway, dad bought a 1933 Dodge 4 door sedan and a remarkable 1935 Chrysler Air Flow sedan from Mr Stern. That Air Flow was all original and had 5,000 or 6,000 miles on the clock. It drove like a dream. Mr Stern also steered dad to find a reportedly rare 1935 Chrysler Air Stream convertible that was supposed to be one of 8 prototypes that made it out of the factory. Not sure how true that is, but it made a great story! If anyone knows anything about any of those cars I mentioned, I'd be interested in talking with you.
