Ok Folks finished up the master cylinder rebuild...Not much happening the rest of the summer, waiting for the engine blueprinting, vulcanized rubber, emblem rebuilds and of course the bed and cab...as soon as items come back, I will photo journal it.

Still need to purchase running boards and a tailgate.

Big thanks out to Mark Wyman at Marksfinds4lessvintagecarpartsandmore.com by far the largest NOS catalog I could find...

    Until then, enjoy the photos...

  2. someone stole the whole grille out of my 36 LC 1/2 truck

looking to buy a completed grille - or really good pieces. Car and 1/2 ton should be same for 36. Will consider a 37 1/2 truck grille (it will fit)

  3. HI -

Looking for measurements - 1936 dodge 1/2 ton

    spring perch center to center

    axle flange to axle flange

Ive read states that 1936 are 59.00 flange to flange, and 1937 are 60 inches from flange to flange

I need a new housing for my LC, and I guy as a 1937 CAR rear axle

unfortunately springs are off right now, so cant tell perch to perch measurement either

  4. OK - so unscrewed the two top hinges on the windshield, and then cranked out the adjuster so I could easily access the two bolts holding the windshield to the metal ribbon crank mechanism.

Now I cant get the ribbon mechanism to crank back in - it gets stuck and cant be turned anymore (BTW - is 1/2 a crank normal slack ?)

It looks like there is a wheel with tabs, and the tabs go thru holes in the ribbon to move in and out.

    Ideas welcome.

    Thanks

  5. Hi - does anyone have measurements and  / or pics of a 1936 Dodge pickup radiator? or what yrs/models interchange?

I need one and well almost all ive found dont have a part number to match the parts book I have.

  6. Hi,

Just purchased a 1936 Dodge Pickup, which unfortunately was being slowly stripped by street folks for drugs or whatever, when the former owner died and family left cars unattended.

    Truck is a nice original beauty, but now needs;

rear axle, bumpers, hood, grille and headlights and radiator.  Could also use full set of hubcaps, but well those are rare.

Anyone have really good versions of parts above.

and no - not for sale, wanted a 36 since I was 19 and saw my first one :)

    Thanks
