  1. Hello Dave,

Did you get the photo of the mounts, if not please tell and I´ll send them again. If possible give price for the mounts + shipping that your friend have for sale.

    Merry Christmas

    Michael, Sweden

Hi, Mike. I saw that friend and told him about your search for Lincoln Continental engine mounts. We assume you mean rear mounts as the fronts are the water pumps like the V8 Fords, right? anyway he thinks he has some it's just a matter of time till he gets to it, then it's a problem getting them to you in Sweden. Send me a PM with your email address for further conversation, Dave.

Hi Dave, I´m not sure if it is the same like the V8. My car is a 1946 Lincoln Continental Coupe V12 with 3 speed + od. There´s 2 mounts in front and one in back, supporting the gearbox too. Will try to add some photos.

If possible find out what shipping costs will be to Sweden.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

    Thanks

    Michael

  3. Thanks for your help.

The missing pieces will be put back in place by me later on. Have them in a box.

    Best regards

    Michael

QUOTE=keiser31;1094563]Can't really give you much of an idea of what the car would be worth in Sweden, but here maybe about $10,000.00 USD. Strictly a wild guess as I see it has some pieces missing inside and the interior looks to be redone in the wrong fabric. Maybe more being that it is a Saratoga.

some pics of the car. hope you can tell by these pics

    Best regards

Chrysler made 15,868 six-passenger sedans (with rear suicide doors). They made 2,326 Town sedans (with front-hinged doors all around). Only photos will help us to determine about what it could be worth.

  5. I really don´t know if the -49 will fit the -46. Hope any of the AACA members will help me out and giude me in this. I´m quite new in the 1946 Lincoln Continental V12 restoration and have no experiences. Need all help I can get.

    Thanks

    Michael

Hi Michael my book only goes back to 49 would that be the same as your 46 parts or numbers wise.I may have a few things.
  6. Michael This is a very unique Ignition coil and tested good. It might possibly better than the Original type.

If you have any issues with it let me know and I try to help you out with it. I do have other parts mostly odds and ends they are from My Dads collection. I'll continue to list them on Ebay as I'm able to sort thru them and clean them I do have lots of loose parts for the distributors though

dandeman, the ignition coil arrived yesterday and I have to ask.. was it broken when shipped? The coil have a crack from one side to the other and one of the pin is broken. I know from before it´s almost hopeless to have the shipper to pay for any damages so I believe I have to face the facts and accept my loss.

    Thanks

    Michael

Thanks , can´t wait until I got it in my LC. Do you have any rear light lenses and engine mounts for sale outside ebay?

  8. Hello again dandeman,

I´m the guy who bought the coil and I really hope it will work out with my LC. Bought it believing it would fit and have no thoughts of the looking.

Do you have any other parts for sale? I´d like to know though I do need some.

    Thanks

  9. Hello dandeman,

My name is Michael Bengtsson from Sweden and own a 1946 LC. Is it possible for you to send me some photos or anything showing your fathers fabricated electric windshield wiper motor.

Or is there anyone else LC coupe owner who will sell me an electric one?

Please get back to me at email: janmichael56@gmail.com

    Thanks

    Michael

My Father Fabricated one from early fifties Mopar unit for his 41 Continental. I have one of these wiper motors if you wanted to try I'm not sure how he engineered it I was only a youngster when he did this.
