  1. Hi everyone, need your help. Do any of you know any about this Lincoln and it´s owner please let me know.

I´ve been offered to buy a 1957 Lincoln Continental coupe and find it quite rare by the low price and if it really is the owner selling it. The vinplate in photo.

I live in Sweden and have no way to look at the car myself.

  2. Hello Bernie,

just another year to fill with nice meatings and cars :)

I use IV Porte just because I own 2 nice 1980 STuTZ IV Porte, and of course the wonderful RR. Even a 1946 Lincoln Continental Coupe V12.

As I asked last year I do need some parts for my RR, the ackumulators, rear hight-control L/R and so on. Don´t know if I told I bought these parts from a guy in the US, he shipped only some of the parts not the accs that Iteally needed. Hope you can help me out here.

Have a nice day and keep in touch.

    Michael

  3. THANK YOU ALL for your kind words.

Born in 1937 into a Buick family, Dad hired in at a Buick dealership in the 1927 as a grease monkey, progressed to becoming the dealer in Bloomington, Il. He finally retired in 1991, so you can see that was a LONG LONG time with Buick. With that said one can easily understand WHY I am a very loyal Buick guy.

One of five children, I was the one that hung onto Dad like WHITE on RICE. I went to the dealership as often as I could, Dad for years drove the wrecker home from work, and took calls at all times for a tow or whatever. Often he would wake me up, and ask if I wanted to go on a wrecker run, needless to say, YES, YES.

Giving up my two Buick's won't be easy, but it's the right thing for me to do.

I will peek in now and then, will need to keep up somewhat with whats happening in the BCA, AACA world.

Bless you all, YOU have given me lots of good info, and many many laughs,

Scallops forever, Mr. Earl, the NON-EATING SCALLOPS.

    Love you all,

    Dale Lamar,

I did not really get to know you but like to thank you for the advise you gave with my 1956 Buick Super.

Take care and hope to keep in touch.

    Best regards

  4. Unless your car was owned by someone of note and there were pictures of the car and the person together or a paper trail, it would be nearly impossible today to trace the past ownership of an automobile. Todays privacy laws prevent such investigations of previous owners. It would be interesting to know who owned our Lincolns when they were new, but lets face it, most of our cars were owned new by some one of common background with a few dollars more than the average person.

    Hi 39 Pickup,

you are quite right. I should have thought of that.

    Thanks

    Michael

  5. Hello guys, I own a 1946 LC coupe VIN H145761, looks to be an early car, right? Have a question, do any of you out there know where to find out the former owners of my car was. Would be vey nice to know.

    Thanks for an interesting forum.

    Michael, from Sweden.

  6. It would be super if I could find a title showing Kenny as owner. Maybe a signed photo with him and the STuTZ.

About the Buick I will add some pics later on. The car needs a LOT of attention and I´ll need support from you guys. I have loved the american 50-60 all my Life and now when all kids are grown up and way from home I need something to do. But 5 cars in need of more or less attention maybe is 1 or 2 to much.

The Kenny-STuTZ is a mess, totaly rusted true in bodey and floor. Parts missing and interior in quite poor shape. The 56 Buick is in better shape even though it is 24 years older.

  7. I use to say; a car is never too far away for have a look, but since live in Sweden it will be quite a trip to do. Any price for the car?

    Michael, Sweden

Same here! Even though I've sold 5 cars this year, I started out by buying 6!

    I've always loved 1950 Buicks.

    Best. Grille. Ever.

I'm glad it is too far away to even go look!

The golden plate in the car says it was made for him but would like to have any paper to. I´m trying get some kind of certificate proving it was like that. Do you have any documentation telling this?

  10. Hey Mike,

I think Lamar almost looks like a Greek Fisherman, what do you think?

I would hope that the just joined segment of this forum realize I am just messing around with Lamar.

  11. Hello guys,

Another year, new challanges and questions.:)

Got one already, my 1946 LC coupe V12 has a body tag, 5EH-57-127. Any of you guys who can tell how many of the LC coupe V12 was made that year and if I can get any information of the car or former owners?

I do need some trimparts for my 56 super 4 door ht, do you know any who got such parts? Needed is rear left & right door trim and rear right lower quater trim on fender. Will need more parts for sure. Do some chopping on ebay but the prices are crazy.
