Ok guys so for sometime now I have been wanting to do the supercharger swap and let me tell ya my poor car needs it. What I was wondering was first off if anyone had any tips and possibly what all I would need to do the swap I read somewhere about needing an axel out of a 91? If so I was just wondering why and how long on average do you think it would take to do the swap? And another thing I am having a really hard time finding a l67 series 1 engine I cant find anything about them on the web its all about series 2. so any suggestions?

Hey guys any ideas on what kind of material to use to replace broken parts of the headliner? I'd use the pieces that came off but they are long gone and were before i got the car anyways its broken about 2 inches off of either side of the board right where the doors are. Any ideas? or would it be a waste of time to try to fix it

because no matter how many times I email Jim Finn he never responds and i think it has something to do with the cylinder because the thing is broken so the car will start with out keys and when i had the column apart it seemed like the rod was kinda loose but i wouldn't know if that rod was supposed to wiggle a little or not it hasn't even been doing it now anyways it hasn't shut off for almost a week and a half now but id still like to figure out whats wrong with it

Do you know where I can get one of the switches if thats what is bad? and how do I tell if thats whats wrong with it?

i got another working BCM and swaped them out and it did the same thing and ya i checked all the connections on the battery cleaned the side posts on the battery the ground point behind the battery and i had to switch the prom in the bcm i already knew that the ignition on the car is broke so the car starts without the keys but i figured it was a power problem i just didn't know where

ok yes everything on speedometer cluster goes black and its the headlights that dim the dome light just shuts off all together along with every other light in the interior except for the crt which stays on the radio screen for a while and then goes to sleep to save energy yes the car sits outside and yes the passenger side door seal leaks so the wires under the carpet could be wet and rusted and need replaced but when I asked about this in my previous mentioned post someone said not to worry about it

yes the radio will still play and even the crt is still on but only in the radio screen

Hey guys I posted a while back like almost a year ago about my reatta having some electrical problems which I thought was caused by the BCM but as it turns out that did not fix my problem what seems to be happening is the all the inside electrical stuff will shut off such as my speedometer and such and the lights dim when this happen I'm going to try to get a new battery here soon to see if thats it and if that doesn't work could it be the ECM and if so I have no clue where thats located on the car so any help with this question would be very much appreciated.

hey guys I think I tracked down where the leak is coming from looks like the intake manifold and it running down to the oil pan and covering everything underneath when im driving so I got all the stuff to fix that and i think im going to check the pan gasket just to be safe and as for the struts I bought them from parts geek and I even got the rubber bumpers and all that good stuff so thank you all very much for all the feed back this site has always been a great help for me!

hey guys Im sure this has be asked before but is it possible to turn a ln3 into a l67 like if i switch the intake and such ive got a leaking intake gasket and i figured if im gonna have it off to switch the gasket why not switch it to super charged i know there would be other things id have to swap but i was just wondering if it was possible

Hey guys thanks and if its the rear crank seal I think thatd just bump up the date for me to put in a supercharged 3.8. And Jim I have emailed you a couple of times wanting to buy some electrical components a bcm and possibly a crt. Maybe you didnt get the emails but i was just wondering if you had anything

Hey guys Im in serious need for new struts on my reatta and i saw some were and read something about a adjuster kit for the back but I have also seen something about the 88's not needing them. So would I need to buy this kit or not is my question also Is there anywhere in particular these engine would leak oil?? just trying to track down where its coming from and it only leaks when i drive which leads me to believe it might me the valve covers but any help there would be much appreciated to thanks
