  1. I've seen them at Gene's table at some of the ROA events. The quality of the construction is first rate. He didn't repro them in pot metal, he made them so they're strong and won't pit. The final quality will depend on you and the plater you chose to do your chroming.

    .

Anybody has any picture of repro from Gene ?

Would be interesting to see & compare to the last posts.

  2. 66/67 is next on my wish list ;-)

You have beautiful example - I like body color, fact that it's GS model, wooden steering wheel (however I'm not sure if wooden steering wheel is the best combination with black interior, but OK - that's only my taste).

I was watching with pleasure. Thanks !

  3. I cannot accept credit card at this time, but do accept PayPal, if you are familiar with that. We also accept check and money order in U.S. Dollars.

If your location is correct in Poland, shipping would be $21.88 USD, for a total of $66.88 USD.

Then no problem, my CC is linked to my PayPal account, so we could proceed with transaction. And yes, my location is very correct ;-). Thank you for detailed quotation. I will send you mail in few days, with my address.

    Thanks again

  4. My wheel is buried in the basement and I can't get to it easily or I'd look at it. Take a look at the wheel in the original post. The bars on it are at 180* to the hub. Then look at the horn bar in the previous post; the bars are not at 180* to the hub. Before paying out that kind of money, make sure that this horn bar fit your wheel!

    Ed

You are right with these 180* - but my wheel is on the way to Poland. It will arrive with the car in around 2 months... Then I will be able to check. Thanks for note !

EDIT: However I have an picture of my wheel, and it looks like the bars should NOT be exactly in 180*.

  5. Has anyone seen or purchased one of the brass wood wheel horn bars that Gene Guarnere is offering? Are they good quality, crisp castings? Once chromed, will it look like the original?

I'd I buy one of Gene's bars I'd like some feedback on Gene's bar before buying.

    Hi folks,

The same question: any feedback from somebody regarding quality ? I would also need one ....

  6. Good afternoon:

I'm sure several of you were following the listing of a Blackout Buick in Napa, CA.

    Hi Jared,

I was in contact with the seller - It was quite close to finalize the deal (as my wife liked the car a lot  ), however I'm form Europe & the seller did not agreed for kind of Escrow service. Now Alice is yours :) . Be sure I will watch this thread. Good luck with resto !
