  1. I have an oil gauge that shows the needle past 4 ...not in car..not hooked up...also appears to have soder in back tube ..I presume the 1/4 copper tubing goes there ..but my question is twofold..do you simply soder in copper tubing..and is it possible that the guage is no good ..should the gauge read like 0 and be to the left before i install...and is there a way to check the gauge?? if mine is bad does anyone have one for sale? miles 25 DB Touring

  10. THE PROBLEM IS FIXED....IT WAS THE DISTANCE....APPARENTLY THE CORRECT ALIGNMENT IS ALWAYS..ENGINE..TRANNY..ENG.SUPPORT..THE 1/8 -1/4 INCH METAL PLATE THICKNESS OF THE ENG SUPPORT BEFORE THE TRANNY...MAKES THE DIFFERENCE..THANKS
  11. AM CHANGING THE DISTANCE PROBLEM AS WE SPEAK AND THE SPACER I THINK ;YOU MAY BE DISCUSSING IS 5030...??/WOULD THAT BE CORRECT..I AM GOING TO CHANGE THE ENGINE MOUNT AND TRANNY TOGETHER AND THEN THE ENGINE SUPPORT..AND THEN HOPE
  12. I hate to think I have stumped everyone, but I may have..Problem: clutch disc won't separate..When engaging the clutch, entire clutch assembly moves, no separation of disc, it is put together properly, the clutch shaft seems to move too far backward, Is it possible for the clutch shaft to move into the tranny too far to not stop and allow for the throwout bearing to tilt on its axis to pull the plate B5593 backwards and thus compress the spring and release pressure on the disc. DOES ANYONE WITH DODGE BROS CARS HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS..I KEEP PUTTING THIS IN THE DISCUSSION AND NO RESULTS THUS FAR. Miles Cook
  13. my first thoughts are that the movement of the shaft is the problem..maybe it does not "stop" at the correct point to allow for the separation to occur..any more ideas..the thickness of the linings appear to be absoutedly correct.
  14. it is assembled correctly....and does not appear to be adjusted incorrectly
