  1. OK ... found it. Very indistinct (probably ground off) but it seems to say... TE1-2784 on the block. Remember it also has 1534099 stamped clearly on the head
  2. Manuel, There is no number stamped on the block near the dizzie?? only the one mentioned above on the head. But here are some pics ..
  3. I have a side-valve 6-cylinder engine fitted to a DA Roadster, and would like to accurately identify it before ordering any gaskets/components. I am aware that it is not the original for the car, but the engine is as follows: * length of head approx. 25 inches * K209 cast in the head * #1534099 stamped on the head * 1402529 cast in the block along with the DPCD logo * fitted with downdraft Ball & Ball carburettor * currently running on 12 volts * mechanical fuel pump on front RHS of block Any suggestions would be appreciated. It's clearly a Chrysler/Dodge/Desoto, but that's all I can guess.
  4. Hi all again, I think (?) this is the inlet valve I need for the base of the Monroes. Top and bottom view - about 28mm diameter.
  5. Hi Mick, Good to see another Aussie.... They are not quite right, and may have the problems of missing parts that I currently experience. I will chase the Myers set and see what happens?
  6. I have a 1929 DA Dodge Roadster and I need to replace (or repair) the rear lever-action shocks. The ones on the car at present are Monroe (not common on Dodge but this car is in Australia!) but they both lack the 'intake valve' inside the shock's cylinder. Parts are apparently unavailable anywhere, so I am looking for a pair of substitute lever actions that might fit. The front has Delco-Lovejoy, which would be fine if available. Happy to pay the right price.
  7. I am seeking parts for the guard-mounting spare wheel clamps on a DA roadster (6-wheeler). They have a block that is bolted to the guard (US=fender),to which a long rod with clamp and wing nut are attached. I particularly seek the 2 blocks that go on the guards, but would accept any other parts of the assembly along with them. Of course, I need two!
  8. Hi and thanks again 1930 ... how do I download those 4 pages on Delco Lovejoys? If I right-click I only get very small thumbnails?
  9. Thanks for that info "1930" ... it seems we have a shared deficiency. Maybe scan each page at 150 dpi and post them as separate jpegs?? They are clearly useful to several Dodgers.
  10. I have a 1929 DA Roadster with terrible suspension. I cannot source anyone who can recondition or service Delco-Lovejoy or Monroe lever action shocks in Australia. Can anyone suggest a contact please? or a US company perhaps?
