I've always been a fan of the American LaFrance Pioneer series apparatus.  This particular engine is one of my favorites.  I really liked the extended front bumper with the extinguishers, nozzles and bell mounted on it.  This engine was new when I was at Johnson City.  Hard to believe that this photo is more than 50 years old!
