1987 (ish) W88 package for Delta88s

Okay here is an obscure one...recently discovered that there was a NASCAR inspired (remember Benny Parson's?) W88 front bumper offered on the 87 Delta88s, over the counter through Olds dealers. Also, some unique rear window "louvers" were offered which would only work on the coupes. I would LOVE to find a set of those louvers (or heck, even a picture of them)! Any suggestions on finding these? I hear they were made of a special material known as unobtanium.

You could get it for 86-91 Delta coupes. I've only seen one car with it and one of the guys at the Charlotte Olds Zone Office had it. It also had rocker panel ground effects and a small spoiler "to give the 88 coupe a NASCAR superspeedway flavor". Or that's what the promotional blurb said. I have it here somewhere but lord only knows where, probably buried in the storage unit.

You're the only person I've found outside of this area who knows anything about W88 option.

Thanks, RR. I found out about this recently after buying Volume 3 of the "Oldsmobile in Action" Magazine published in 1987 (though I vaugely recall maybe seeing one). It has some very interesting technical info on the Drag Racing Competition Engine (DRCE) program...of course, these motors were being put in heavily modified versions of the cars Oldsmobile was building at the time, including Firezas, Toros, Deltas, etc. Even though my '88' coupe doesn't have the Nascar performance, it would be cool to have the look! It might be a longshot to find, but similarly obsure stuff has turned up before. Along the same lines, a 1986 Lesabre Gran National showed up on Ebay a couple months make (maybe 117 made).

I know I am replying to an extremely old post (2002).  Here is the W88 spoiler installed on my 1987 Delta 88 Coupe.  I found it new in box on ebay about 4 years ago for only $80.  I've not seen one for sale since that time.
