My first project - Willer - retro motorsport-inspired watch

Dear retro car lovers.

My name is Andrew. I'm a big fan of classic endurance races of the first half of the 20th century and vintage vehicles. I'm also a novice independent watchmaker and decided to create my first wristwatch relying on vintage cars' design and dashboard elements in inspiration for the concept. I decided not to concentrate on a specific model/brand, but to create something universal for starters, to appeal the most tastes :)  A couple of days ago I launched the campaign on the Kickstarter platform to raise funds for producing these watches with the helps of other watch and sports cars enthusiasts, just like me.

Please, note, that this is not an advertisement - I'm crowdfunding to manufacture them there, so it's not a store. So that's why I'm telling you about the project of my life - Willer. If you'll like what I did, you can pre-order it there and save pretty much (around 40% from the full price of the watch - the special offer for those, who supports my project). I'll also be glad to see some commentaries on the watch itself - do you like how it looks, would you wear it personally, what's there to change before producing them?

Here's the link to the campaign and some photos to learn more about the project and see how cool it looks. Thank you for your attention, friends!

There are plenty of genuine vintage watches available.  I own and enjoy wearing several and am pleased to say that despite a modest outlay they generally hold their own against inflation. I doubt the same can be said for a retro styled modern watch. I am partial to Pierce Crono's.

I do like your taste in cars however
