smithbrother Posted February 14, 2016 Share Posted February 14, 2016 I have the original jacket patch that Chevy sent me after I purchased my 57 new fuelie solid lifter 283 Cu. In. 283 HP Corvette. Purchased it in Goodfield, Il. from Dale Schumaker , $3,290.00 $500.00 down. I sold the car, it was found flipped in a creek, destroyed, driver still in car was killed. Black car, Black insert, Red interior 4-speed. It ran 82.00 MPH in the 1/8th. on a clay drag strip, at 8.42 seconds. First 100 feet was concrete. I never sewed the patch on a jacket.
