Guest my3buicks
I sat the Reatta out for our neighborhood garage sale today and had the best cash offer yet. Funny, you go to the work of advertising stuff nationally and you simply pull it out if the garage and that happens.
Guest my3buicks
It was close, we were about $1000 apart - he even waived a $1000 cash deposit in my face - lolHe had a new blue coupe in 89 and always wanted a vert. He said he always regretted not waiting a year and buying the vert. He was about 70 I would guess. he has my business card so maybe he will decide to fulfill the dream. Guest Flacko9091
Where is he? I'm thinking of selling my 1990 Reatta vert and just keeping my '91 vert.
Guest my3buicks
Ha Ha, I am still hoping he steps up on mine. He was blown away by the mileage and the fact that it has never been actually driven in the rain. He must have looked underneath 20 time and would just keep saying the underside is as shiny as the top LOL.
Guest Flacko9091
I'm fairly new here...what year is your vert and how many miles?Just figured it out...you're the nice red/tan '90 vert owner on ebay for about $20k.I'd say the red/tan '91 vert with 37k that I just bought looks very close to that condition. I just insured it with Hagerty for $20k. Edited September 1, 2015 by Flacko9091 (see edit history)
Guest my3buicks
I looked at your 91 when it was on Craigslist, appears to be a nice clean car overall.
Guest Flacko9091
Ya it's a nice original 91. I installed a refurbed stereo cause I had some popping noise and fixed the passenger headlight which had ground the rollers to dust. Other than that just freshened all fluids and she's good to go! Guest Flacko9091
I'm guessing my 91 vert wasn't driven in the rain much if at all. The first 13 years it was part of the Bulgari collection in Allentown and was driven only about 9000 miles and I'm sure on only nice days. The past 11 years it's been garaged and driven in Phoenix (not much rain in the desert!)
Guest my3buicks
Mine has not been driven in rain either as claimed by the former owners and I have not either, although it did get wet hauling it to the AACA spring nationals. I have only washed the car once in the last year. I figure my luck it will rain on it hauling it to Hershey for the AACA Fall meet as well lol
Guest Flacko9091
I think the real key of course is not driving it in salt

Barney Eaton
I know that red convertible (900437) that came from Bulgari, I have the sister black coupe that was in his collection. Also I know the Mackenzie's that purchased the car from Bulgari, I'm thinking it was 2005 when the Buick meet was in Batavia, they were driving from Allentown to AZ and was going to stop at the meet but the weather was bad and they wanted to keep driving. I have a note that the red convertible had 9600 miles in 2006.
Guest Flacko9091
Ya I think they bought it in 2004. Mileage was right around 9500 miles. I bought it with 37,000. Still a very nice car. I have changed all fluids, replaced the stereo with a rebuilt unit and fixed the passenger side headlight. It's tucked away in my garage and will only be driven about 2k per year on nice days.
