Guest
Can anyone ID this engine for me? Flat head six with the following number stamped in the cylinder block on the driver's side: PI5*8545I5*S The asterisks indicate stars in the stamped engine number. Also, where can I fine the date code? Thanks, Greg
Rusty_OToole
P15 = a 1946 47 or 48 Plymouth, known to the factory as the model P15. The S may indicate the Deluxe model as opposed to the Special Deluxe P15 C. 3 1/4 X 4 3/8, 217.8 cu in, 6.6:1 compression, 95 HP engine.
