Attitude928 Posted May 18, 2015 Author Share Posted May 18, 2015 (edited) We were shown a lot of Southern hospitality during our travels through Virginia and North Carolina. It was a very friendly group, who were very knowledgeable about the cars. Three Oakland mechanics were present. They had a lot of experience with the Oakland engines (8 cylinder, 6, 4 & 2) and repairing Oaklands in general. One of them had a stockpile of old Oakland parts. They are located in PA, DE & MD, which is close to my base in NY/NJ. My mechanic (who came along) was in seventh heaven learning about the old Oaklands from these guys.
