Guest Posted January 27, 2000 Share Posted January 27, 2000 After the fantastic help I got here for my hydramatic problem I am hoping for some help on fitting piston oil control rings....<P>The central ridged oil ring, which sit between two flat rings, has little green and red plastic inserts in the troughed ends. I am wondering if they should be removed as I am having trouble compressing the rings for installation.
