Guest driver8
I have long block Chrysler/Desoto flathead 6. It's a 1951 237/251/265 block.I need a starter and generator (6v). I don't have for core or rebuild.Anyone know what other years & makes I could search for or cross reference? This engine is in a '48 D25 (p-15 body). The car is 6v pos. ground. Guest GCheaney
No your starter wont spin backward. Wire wound starters could care less which ground isused. Any generator can be either positive or negative ground. If you are still confused, car wise, you can contact me @ Ace Alternator & Starter ExchangeAce Alternator & Starter ExchangeCheers,Glenn
