Mark Gregory
I own a 1931 Reo Royale . The car's rear axle must have been sitting in water . As when I drained the differential lots of water poured out . I took the differential cover off . I now have a very rusty differential inside . There used to be some sort of oil deflectors in the differential . To keep the oil from travelling down the axles and coming out into the brake drums ? There is just a few rotted pieces of the metal deflectors left . Not enough to know how they went or for patterns . Does anyone have a good picture of what this deflector looks like ? Someone said trucks used to use this detail . T
