Guest 1951Olds88
I saw this at the side of a road close to my home in Cumming, GA and thought perhaps a collector might be interested. I have no info about the car, other than the pictures, so call the number on one of the pictures for more details. I have no relationship with the seller. jeff_a
Pretty nice looking Metro. I suppose Ser.# 22946 would tell you what year, but no-trunk-lid means pre-1959 I think.
jeff_a
Pretty nice looking Metro. I suppose Ser.# 22943/22804 would tell you what year(maybe a '56), but no-trunk-lid means pre-1959. Guest Skyking
E-22804 indicates April 1956. First year for the 1500 series. Two tone paint, 1500 cc motor and houndstooth interior, among other little changes. Jeff, you're correct in the trunk being added in 1959, along with side vent windows and seat adjustment extenders. Why it took so long to add the outside trunk was beyond me.Bob Edited November 4, 2014 by Skyking (see edit history)
