trickydicky43richard
If the attachment is viewable can anybody advise what's the function of the orange wire (5) off the brake light switch, what does it do ??R
Rusty_OToole
It is for the brake lights. The brake lights, stop lights and turn signals use the same light bulb filament. When you install the turn signals, the brake light circuit will go through the turn signal switch.Does your Chrysler have the separate, center mounted brake light? That may complicate things
trickydicky43richard
Thanks Rusty, My C22 Chrysler has a brake/tail light on each rear fender, however I have added separate indicator lamps on the bumper irons.I think you may have hit on something though, cause I am using separate added on indicator lamps the orange wire #5 off the brake light pressure switch is not necessary in my application, ?????? Guest Commodore
I agree, the wiring for the rear can stay stock.
