Guest chris from connecticut
I need some help to id this Franklin, I think its a 1933, but can anyone tell me the model or perhaps the value in this condition and after restoration. Are parts hard to come by? I don't know anything about these cars, is this one rare?, it looks to be a 12 cylinder & was running ten years ago, I welcome any replies and comments....thanks Chris,
f147pu
Is there a serial number plate on the firewall? List the number. Where are you located, I'm in Vernon. BTW, it is a 6 cylinder. Gordon Howard
Olympic33
1933 18B Series 184 Olympic Sedan. I have one identical to this under restoration. They are rare in that not many were made by Franklin - I think the general figure was in the neighborhood of 1500. The B & C models are more rare than the A's. They are based on a REO Flying Cloud S2/S3 body and chassis including the rear axle and transmission. It is a Franklin 6-cylinder engine. This car looks very complete from the pictures.Dan Edited July 13, 2014 by Olympic33 (see edit history)
