FLYER15015
I am looking for the funky little bloated "A" shaped retainer spring that holds the master cylinder mounting plate to the brake/clutch pedal shaft.Parts book, page 249 lists this part in section 8.934 as P/N 148154, and back in '40 it was $ .02ea.I would not expect to find one at that price, but if you have one please answer here or PM me.I do have 2 "E" rings on the "Baby" for now and they seem to work, but I really would like to find the proper part. Thanks,Mike in Colorado

FLYER15015
Brooker, The best info I have is the picture in the parts book on page 249.I did find a pair of "E" rings for a 3/4" shaft and I ground a bit of the "E" out so they would sit down a bit further in the groove. They seem to work.I just got my brake cylinders and master back from Karp's in Calif. Sleeved with 304 stainless tube, and BEAUTIFLY cross hatched. Now to put her back together, and start driving ( and stopping)...........MikePS; If you would be willing to send me what you have, I will know in a second if it is the right part. Seems to me that the clip is about 2" tall overall and fits on a 3/4" shaft. Edited May 5, 2014 by FLYER15015 (see edit history)
