It is NOS and has the following serial number stamped on it... 31G-526 & A.H.NAlso has the following number stamped on it.... 2137It looks like a suspension part of a motor mount but I am unsure. My grandfather owned a lot of antique cars over the years...Sampson truck, early Studebaker touring cars, 36 Dodge Sports coupe, Cadillac, etc.Any help would be appreciated as I just hope to find out what this is. I can post a picture if I can figure out how. Thanking everyone in advance for technical help. Thanks!

Guest bgbllbffr
Found these bumper guards, wrapped & taped in my Dads garage. Iam sure they were headed for the swap meet along with various other misc. hot rod parts. Anyways Ive looked all over the net & havent been successful in identifying them. Ive found one on ebay & their calling it "Vintage mystery bumper guard with 3 stripes". The fact that Pops did have these things dipped & wrapped up,ready to sell tells me something, but Iam sure He knew exactly what they were for. If anyone could enlighten me,that be great. thanx
