jessejamesjr
Can anyone ID this brass bucket? Solar is the only word on the outside.

jessejamesjr
Knob says E-1398 solar. The width of the front ring is 13". The bucket is 8" deep (front to back). Thanks.
Layden B
Made by Badger Brass and sold under their Solar brand. The E is no surprise, it stands for electric, 13 is the style year ( being for a 1913 model year car). 9 is their type designation and the 8 is the size ( generally corresponding to the body inside diameter). This lamp probably came on many different makes/models of cars and was offered as retrofit for earlier gas lamp cars. Unfortunately, off hand I am not able to name any cars that used it as standard equipment.
