okdave
just this weekend i rebuilt the brakes on my zephyr. removing the rear hubs was quite a job--i used the krwilson type hub puller but it is still a lengthy process requiring use of a hammer and long breakover on puller while holding lug nuts to keep axle from turning. the hubs hadnt been removed in over 30 years and they were really frozen. all wheel cylinders were rusted and frozen. post by cboz on subject was invaluable in finding right tool and method. imported_Phil Knapp
Rear hub removal is a LOT easier if you use an air wrench with the K. R. Wilson puller!
okdave
my air wrench was not powerful enough to budge the puller. hammer and break over was darn hard work. i hope i dont have to take them off again soon. thanks
