WANTED: PISTONS

Hi,

I need a set (12) pistons for our Packard Twin Six. 3" bore + .030", .75" pin dia., 2.034" compression height, and 3 5/16" height.

Does anyone know a source for a set of stock pistons?

I have a quote from Egge for a set, but have to believe that there must exist a set of off-the-shelf pistons that will work.

Check with Ross Racing Pistons in Ca. If there is a set that will fit they can tell you. If not, they make gorgeous FORGED, not cast, replacements for a very reasonable price.

Hi Bill!! Long time no see. When we've needed stuff for our two Plymouths, the guys over at Caldonia Diesel have been able to help us out. THey don't keep anything in stock, but anything that we've needed, they've been able to find.

Another person who may be able to give you a connection is Tommy Stewart over in Churchville. Tommy rebuilds flathead Ford engines for a living, and he is real active in the Pre-1916 club, so he may have a contact or two as well.
